Central CX Rnd 5 MK Bowl
Back to Milton Keynes Bowl for round 5 Nathan Hardy finished 5th Boy (6th overall) in the U12 race.
Starting from 2nd row on the grid Nathan had a good start to arrive at the bottom of the main steep climb with the leading group.
By the top the first 3 riders had opened a gap with Nathan riding with 2 others in a small chasing pack. With the first 3 stringing out ahead the chasing trio changed places for the next 2 laps of the increasingly slippery course. The relatively short lap meant the steep climb up the side of the bowl came round quickly with each circuit.
At the front Joe Kiely (welwyn) came away with another win. Nathan held his form well, improving on his previous visit to MK Bowl where he was 11th, to cross the line in a good 6th place overall.
We didn't see any other CCA riders but did come away after the youth races.
