Partners or otherwise, ok either way
Do not have to be a pirate, but do have to hug one :-)
Probably Dine Bangla , but will depend on numbers etc..
Will book table next weekend, let me know if interested.

The Black Pig sails for the exotic East along the Spice Route
FD will be there, but alas the Flying Dutchwoman will be spending our gold on festive trinkets in Zurich
Hard Swiss cheese on (soon to be poor) Dutchie
Will compensate with a potent and pugnacious chicken Joe Frazier or Paleo Tandoori with salad
See you there
FD
Will book the table on Sunday
Will be a busy time of the year, so shout
CP
8pm Dine Bangla fri 5th dec
Get there for 7.45
Currently for 9, let me know very soon if you want to come
CP
The Brethren Court convenes again:
Made up of the great Pirate Lords, the Brethren Court was the governing body of pirates. The Court was led by the Pirate King, chosen by popular vote by the nine Pirate Lords, each lord hailing from a different region spread across the Four Corners of the Earth.
Who will be elected King (fisher) for the night?
FD
And several are off with the fairies
Gandalf the White
The Nine Pirate Lords, not Nine Nazgul, although the latter may be a spicy dish?
I thought Gandalf and R2D2 were banned?
FD
Can a fellow be a villain all his life?
All the trials and tribulations!
Better settle down and get myself a wife.
And a wife would cook and sew for me,
And come for me, and go for me,
And go for me, and nag at me,
The fingers, she will wag at me.
The money whe will take me.
A misery, she'll make from me...
...I think I'd better thing it out again!
Come along, consider yourself one of the family
If not, then that's your funeral
Who will buy and will Oliver ask for more?
It's a fine life and I'd do anything for a curry
Even pick a pocket or two!
The Artful Dodger
not the other one
( there are several )
confused ? you are now
CP
Can you recommend the tandoori fish?
Do we need to bring a rod and line on board the Black Pig to catch our own?
Blistering blue barnacles!
Now I'm confused
Tintin
Dine Bangla - is that where we went before? The one with the decent food hygiene rating?
I remember some other establishments didn't fare quite so well. Wouldn't want to be the Ailing Dutchman!
Although Flying Dutchwoman is away, grandparents have offered to look after the Flying Dutchkids!
Flailing Dutchman
Lots of Dutch courage with the bosses entertained
Yes you are safe at this one
Nothing worse than a pirate with the hebegebees
May go for the starters this time
What you have already ?
CP
I was never a fan of the hebegebees and just glad we'll be Staying Alive.
We certainly don't fancy any Night Fever from poor hygiene - that would be a Tragedy.
Even just a taste of something dodgy means You Should be Dancing all night.
You going for the starters will be a rarity - you only nornally go for the finish (boom, boom!)
The Joking (not Choking) Dutchman
Probably last chance to do so
( busy time of the year for them )
Last call
any more takers ?
CP
The Black Pig continues to thrive.
The more crew on the night the merrier. How many we up to now?
Is Gandalf coming? How about R2D2?
Laughing Dutchman
A collection of desperados, each with a special skill
What's yours ?
A Bangla and make it snappy
CP
Cap'n replies, 'What shores?'
Answer from aloft, 'A dozen Cobras please. And make them Paleo!'
Sent you an email Cap'n
Thirsty Dutchman
7.50 for 8pm start
Dine Bangla Baldock
Dutchie ill and no carbs
See how long that lasts :-)
CP
Not 'no carbs', but low carbs. Feed a cold and starve a Dutchman.
Currently following sage advice to 'Drink plenty of fluids to replace those lost due to sweating and a runny nose.'
Therefore I'm having quite a few 'medicinal' drinks to help me recover.
Starving Sneezing Coughing Tipsy Dutchman
I recommend whisky for its healing powers
Now I mention it .......
CP
12 year old Highland Park doing a magnificent job.......
The Really Flying Scotsman/Dutchman
22 should do it whilst we order
starters or straight to mains is the question - majority will win the day
there's shores on the horizon
thanks alot
See you all 7.50 for 8pm
CP
First person there order the Cobras you mean?
22 should do it, plus whatever everyone else wants.
Straight into the beers for starters?
Don't forget I'm following the Paleo lifestyle approach, so have to restrict my carb intake!
FD - 'I think I've left our coats by the door'
CP - 'Shall I get them?'
FD - 'very kind, a Cobra please!'
Thirsty Dutchman
So down to 20 poppadoms and make them snappy
( 2 poor souls watching )
Beer needs to be cold in my view
the sight of the amber nectar being poured with a magnificent head is to be savoured
So mine hoist in the air
its time for one
CP
'Piratical Shores in Baldock' - A Christmas Panto
Act one, scene one - a curry house.
FD - 'I've decided on my main course'
CP - 'what are you having?'
FD - 'very kind of you, Cap'n- mine's an Cobra!'
Exeunt omnes
To be continued.....
Laughing Dutchman
FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY.
An Original from Dutchie - fun-filled Christmas Panto:
'PIRATICAL SHORES IN BALDOCK'
The cast for tonight's fun-filled premiere may include the following characters:
Cap'n Pugwash - as Himself, a retired wannabe sprinter. Very shy in coming forward.
Cut Throat Jake - the ship's carpenter. A curmudgeonly pirate, rarely seen on deck, due to ongoing hull repairs.
Tony the Bullet - super fit veteran, despite a penchant for champagne lunches and long cruises
The Green Goblin - a no-nonsense pirate who prefers the Spanish Main and green/black sailing gear
Pete Nowhere - the Cap'n's shadow, similar to 'Pou-Pou' in being consistently sprint runner-up or nowhere
Flailing Dutchman - as 'Dutchie' - an unusually large orange pirate, likes poetry, bird seed and grog.
Sergeant Pain - a Colonial Rebel. The Cap'n's sprint nemesis, exists off air, water and lemon juice.
The Lost Boys - various assorted crew
Numerous pirate's wives, known for their patience, understanding and brilliance in keeping the home fires burning, while their pirates husbands are off on yet another voyage.
Possible guest appearance from Sri Lankan Rupert - the ship's engineer. Uses a 'Net' for multiple impulse buys
What's Yours?
FD
He brings foreign spice
... But then it all is ?
... Umm.... Need a drink
CP
PS did I say where we are going ?
Great fun tonight James, thanks for organising.
See you for Sunday ride!
FD
Captain and the good lady boarded another table at the start
Some of the crew carb loaded on arrival
Made our presence known
Bangla tasted sweet
Captain flashed gut but bottom did not stray this time
Good times
CP
