Another good turn out from CCA riders on Saturday at Bury. Very good conditions which makes a change here as this fixture is earlier in the season than usual. (Done this in snow on a couple of occasions)

The course was run the reverse way round again and missed out a tricky cambered climb from previous years but still provided some good racing despite reduced numbers. Another double race weekend which is probably the reason.

Personally not a great race for me. Had a blow out on my rear tub. Managed to ride to the pits and get a bike change but did not allow for the canti brakes not being as efficient as my normal race bike so had to use a tree to help me stop which caused me to fall on to an already damaged arm. Probably not racing for a while now on drs orders.

Good points picked up for the team league competition where we are now in 2nd place by 35 points
