After last week's mud bath, let try to do something less grimy !

    Well last week the word to describe the ride was mud, this week it would be swift!!

    Twelve of us out for unusually exactly the route described above. Cracking pace set on the run out to Barrington hill & a cracking pace up the hill, down the other side and all the way back !! Also an excellent display of bike handling skills in Bourn after AdamR tried to take me out after a clip in failure. Good job my large mass managed to bounce him back on ;)

    Jez and DaveW tried to stop any sprinting action to the Ashwell sign by setting an immense pace all the way back from Guilden, however it wasn't quite enough as Jenny surprised us all (and herself!) by some blistering pace on her new Italian speed machine to take the sign unopposed.

    Thanks all for a great workout this morning. 38 @ a shade under 17 !!

    p.s. I'll not mention the shower hat :)

    Checked the cleats....I'm sure there's a few more miles in them :)
