National Champs CX Abergevenny
John Polak Jackie and Noah represented the club in South Wales this weekend at the National CX champs. They all raced on Saturday in very challenging conditions that changed throughout the day. It rained most of the Friday night which made for very slippy conditions in the early races.
Jackie was off first in the Vet ladies who have there own race now. She had a good race and came 10th.
Noah was up next in the U16 boys and was disappointed to have had a start line crash which knocked his back wheel out. He had to run to the pits for a very early bike change which left him in last place. He worked hard to finish in 44th place.
Although the course was drying out during the day due to the high winds the course remained a challenge for John's race. He came in 49th in the 40-49 cat.
Apparently Welsh TV will be releasing footage from the races on the internet shortly.

Nick Craig (V40+), Isla Rowntree (WV40+) and Tim Gould (V50+) were awesome winning their respective races.
How was the racing to day Stuart?
Nick and Isla in top ten finishes in Elite races on the Sunday - phenomenal.
