I will be there tomorrow :-) Been out on Wednesday and Saturday club rides but this will be my first Sunday club ride, looking forward to it! See you there :-)
Good crew today, all stayed together on our voyage north, thanks everyone. Sterling work on the front by Nathan, still frisky after his near 100 mile ride yesterday! Single file line astern from Waresley to Potton at over 'evens', hence the 16.8mph average. Beny and Gav also going well, leaving the 3 older pirates puffing up the hills! 1,550 calories expended according to the Garmin, or 2 double chocolate biscuits back at the Cap'n's cabin afterwards...strictly non-Paleo. Talk of longer rides to all 4 points of the compass: Cotswolds, Bury St Edmunds, Chilterns, Wales, Norfolk coast....
Cap'n's Table Turkish evening supper being arranged for mid-March in Hitchin -The Ides of March.
Later in the year - Italian supper during Giro, French gourmet night avec Le Tour and Spanish Tapas while the Veulta is on. Perhaps Beer & Frites to coincide with the early season classics? Watch this space.

We are the most refined of the rides :-)
See you tomorrow
Head north, roads to South full of mud

Will be there to flush out tonight's grog.
Plenty of mud today out east around Sandon, Buckland, Barkway, Reed and Therfield. Best avoided.
Secret training. Caught red-handed by No Nonsense Nick in the village today, refreshed from his voyage to the Spanish Main.
Will we see Pete2?
