Saturday 28th Feb 9.30am ride
Well in traditional style for a Saturday morning its forecasted to be low clouds, grey and damp/drizzly. Anybody remember the last time we had a Sat ride in the sunshine !!
Anyway, lets continue with the reversing classics theme started last week, so how about we reverse the Gransden/Eversdens loop. Can't remember this late time we did it this way round, so up Croyden hill and over Barrington hill the 'hard' way !

Always open to suggestions though if somebody can think of better route.......

Thanks for the ride yesterday, David.
Really enjoyed catching up with you all again and hopefully see you soon.

9 of us out for a day weather wise that was way better than expected, even saw some blue sky out near Gransden. As is now standard for the Sat ride pace was brisk, especially so in the downhill roller section between Bourn and the A603.
A quick jaunt up chapel hill and a windy slog back to Steeple before I decide that we should add station road loop as the wind had dropped. In hindsight this was not the case as I just happened to be sheltered behind FD - whoops :-)
So, a grand total of 40 miles @ a shade over 16 & confirmation that DaveW can indeed get lost in Litlington !!!
And there was plenty of shelter behind me on my stint on the front into the headwind from Shepreth to Steeple!
Good job Pete was there to give me a break in the grind up to Ashwell station...so much so that there was plenty in the tank for a long solo effort to the Ashwell sign!
See you soon

Thanks to Emma for the lead out on the sprint. And no wiley tales from Dave to fool us this time.
Seems like FD still has a few tricks to learn from the Captain!
You would have been proud, Cap'n.
Although not so proud of my being on the front.
