MSG Round 1: Shouldham Warren
5 CCA Riders raced at the 1st round of the Eastern Region XC MTB series.
The course was relentless, mainly due to the fact that if you weren't on the short descents then you were most likely battling fierce headwinds or forcing yourself up steep climbs. The ground was a bit soggy which led to certain parts of the course becoming fairly muddy.
The results from timelaps (with some corrections)
U12 Male:
18th - Joseph Hadsley (Who did 49 minutes! Only ten minutes short of the full race!)
22nd - Archie Bracewell
Juvenile Female:
1st - Harley Pell (3rd out of U16)
Juvenile Male:
10th - Felix Field
Youth Male:
5th - Travis Pell
9th - Noah Field

Felix found himself in a similar position to Joe except on the adults course. He made it through 2 laps without being lapped so went on to do a 3rd which meant 1hr42 of riding. He was pretty tied at the end.
