  • Yo ho buccaneers.

I'll be there. Not sure about the hills though.

    So saying that...

    ...Gold (gold)
Oh always believe in your soul
You've got the power to know
    You're indestructible

    Good training for Ventoux!

No wind , dry and 7C
    Luxury !

May do a variation on the route that broke the bullet
    Are you ready ?

Will be 15-16 mph, 40 to 45 miles
About 6000 ft of climbing :-)
regroup at the top each time

    Only a few beers tonight

PS special treat at the end , let it begin
  • Yo ho Cap'n

That is a lot of climbing for gold in only 40 miles.

Could be hard going for me, especially after a big Chinese meal and some beers tonight.

Goldfinger, he's the man, the man with the Midas touch
    A spider's touch
Such a cold finger beckons you to enter his web of sin
    But don't go in

    Oddjob Dutchman
  • Where you off to - the Pyrenees !!
  • If it's 6000 ft in only 40 miles, I'm gonna need a new 'pair of knees', that's for sure!

Not sure there will be as many jokes climbing tomorrow.

    Laughing Dutchman
  • Sun is out. Sky is blue(ish). No wind.
    All excuses absent.
Gonna have to come out for a cycle ride
    :-)
  • Yo ho Cap'n Goldfinger

Won't be able to come out this morning, going out later

    See you tomorrow

    Dr No
  • No bullet, no Dr No
The mention of hills and pirates hide in them ?
    Where is your metal ?

    Head a bit cloudy
    I'm reviewing the situation
    See you soon

    Yo Ho

Short 2 hour 34 mile ride from home this morning as didn't want to abandon the family on Easter Sunday

Hitchin Codicote Whitwell Lilley Higham Gobion Gravenhurst Meppershall Hitchin.

Nice to be out on the carbon summer steed for the first time since September

Cool, overcast, but dry and little breeze....nowhere near as good as it looks in Flanders on TV though!

    Family Dutchman
  • Never trust a pirate
    Hills and undulations a plenty
But the bullets garmin must have been on cumulative
2500 feet climbing, enough to get the crew groaning

No wind and dry made a nice change
    Hills done, flat tomorrow
    Perhaps see family guy

    Stewie
  • Was a really good ride.
    Thanks
  • Yo Ho

    Hmm let me go,
    To see my family.
    Please Father let me go,
    As my mother sleeps.

I don't know about James Bond,
But round here nobody lives twice.

Family day today, cycling family tomorrow.
