Not sure if this one is forward or reverse, but as its Easter Saturday thought that we could do the 'mini-Egg' ride tomorrow

  • First sat ride in a loooong time, see you there.
  • No mini-eggs, no Easter sunshine, but I enjoyed that a lot. Thx all
  • Not really a mini egg, more of a tough ostrich one !

The weather forcast was definitely lying this morning as it was not either A) mild or (B) lighter winds.

Think that we were all transported to some part of a windswept, cold Belgian classic this morning. Gritty stuff indeed. Cold northerly headwind all the way to Newport and a cold northerly headwind all the way back ! Highlights were a bit of pave up to littlebury green, a sideways horse just outside barley and a closed road near Elmdon that ruined the big dip challenge !!

Think it was 44 miles at just under 16 although it felt like a lot more !

Thanks all for a challenging morning, I'll try to order some warmth for next week :)
  • p.s. Anybody else find that their bike was covered in dead worms????
  • Tough ride, thanks David! Yeah, I noticed the worms as well- where did they come from???

David's idea of a big dip challenge!... More speed required to bunny hop the concrete barriers me thinks!

    Great ride that, thanks.
