Tonights 10. 6th May

Hi folks,
Just to let you know that we are hoping to run the 10 tonight but might need to make a last minute call on it when we get there.
At the moment i would probably cancel it as the wind is very strong and gusty but the forecast is that the wind will subside from 7.00. We will have to see what happens but im hopeful and will be there.

I understand other local 10's were cancelled last night.

Thanks for the warning.....I will be attending but even if cancelled last minute that's ok as I will still get a ride in by cycling over.

I'm chickening out and making the call now so won't be there. Hoping to be there next week, but I'm oncall so may have a 2 week holiday.

Great, thanks Tim - we'll take a gamble and turn up and see - the forecast I was looking at showed the wind dropping from about 40 down to 20mph between 6 and 7, so fingers crossed...

Sorry about that people. I think thats the first one weve cancelled because of winds.

There was a very strong squall when i got back home that sent my garden furniture into the hedge so i think it was the right call. Thanks for your understanding.

The right call...it would certainly have been a TRIAL in that wind.

I would have still been out there now and it's 9pm.
