Sleaford Wheelers CC Nev Crane Memorial '25'
Good day to you all,
The 9th edition of the Nev Crane Memorial '25' is on the horizon. How quickly the time seems to pass by. Once more the Sleaford Wheelers are looking for entries for arguably the richest TT in Lincs DC and until our recently held Charity '10', held the proud position of being the best supported Open TT in the County.
Four times the event has attracted over 100 entries with a high of 115 and a low of 89. Now having shown that Lincs single carriageway courses can pull in a full field as happened in the Charity event when 129 were on the card, it would be just great to go there again.
Course C25/35 last year posted the first 49 minute ride ever seen in an Open in the County in this event. Three such rides were recorded in the National in 2013 and the 49:53 recorded by Matt Bottrill in winning this event is the 3rd quickest time the County has ever seen. 2nd quickest time also belongs to Matt in the 2013 National.
So have I whetted your appetites enough for you to put an entry in by Post or by Internet? Internet Entry is so simple so why delay? If you have already entered please accept my apolgies.
Regards,
Doug Laidlow
