Jackie and James took part in this early this morning. Much better weather for this one although still a bit chilly because of the early start. Unfortunately due to an RTA the organisers rightly decided that the course would have to be altered to avoid a crashed car on the course. This meant changing it from a 2 lap race to a single lap which meant 31 miles reduced to 15. It was still a challenging ride with lots of ups and downs and some very long drags.

James got 3rd place on time in the Vets and Jackie was 2nd Lady vet.

    It needs to be reported that Jackie has secured the overall RTTC National series win in the Womens vets section, currently having only dropped 3 points. With just one race to go she is unbeatable - a fantastic effort!

    I am currently placed third in the series on Target time but almost certain to be demoted in the last race in September.

    well done both. last event is sept 13th and not far away at cranfield, so good opportunity for others to ride too. - james will provide more details nearer the time i am sure.
