Interclub 15 - 7th June 2015

Whilst a bevy of CCA riders were preparing themselves for mass participation around Cambridgeshire this morning, 10 testers were in Bedfordshire for the Interclub 15 starting from Cardington hangars, down to the Meppershall Tesco roundabout and back.

Mostly a good road surface and with a surprising headwind on the return, made for some slow times compared to last year.
Nevertheless a sterling effort from all especially Emma who rode to a fantastic time and was able to improve on her last year's mark by a good bit despite yesterday's ToC.

CCA retain a lead in the IC series although 35 pts down on Beds this time round.

    Great riding all - massive respect to those who rode on Saturday too. Emma - you'll have to start TTing on Tuesdays as prep for Wednesdays, it obviously works for you. I'm chuffed not to come last on my first 15. James I took your advice and hit the hill hard, but not much left to tackle the headwind!
