...so took a day's holiday to enjoy the fantastic conditions!

Hitchin-Weston-Walkern-Sacombe-Cold Christmas (yes, really!)-Much Hadham-Pelhams-Nuthampstead-Buckland-Rushden-Halls Green-Hitchin.

Most of the motorists were in work, so traffic free lanes, azure sky overhead, gentle SE breeze to lower the temperature and blow me homeward.... just perfect really...loving my cycling at the moment!

60 miles @17mph. Fab.

Needed a day's break Geoff and to be around my wife who lost her father last week after a long illness....it's been a tough few weeks for us....first day off since April and before that, Christmas. Not that I need to justify taking a day off......but good to forget the worries for a while.....
