Yo Ho me hearties

Good to be back.

As Sunday is forecast to be treacherous on the high seas how about switching to Saturday instead?

Apparently there's a good flat route to St Ives we can follow, one I've been on before.

What say you, ye swabs?

  • Hi FD
This is a good idea but I can't tomorrow. I will take my chances on Sunday.
  • It seems the regular crew are away sunning themselves on holiday in exotic locations such as GRIMsby.

Shortish but hilly ride for me around Hexton, Sundon, Breachwood Green, Kimpton, Whitwell, Preston....

....before rehydrating all night at a wedding with some stretching exercises on the dance floor!

Away to Greece the week after next for some hot weather acclimatisation mountain biking in the hills....not sure it'll be as warm as GRIMsby though......

Back from sunny climes and desperate to get out on the bike, so did Ashwell to St Ives and back.

64 miles @ 18mph. Sunshine and light winds made for ideal conditions.

Quicker than I expected - There's something to be said for sitting on a sun lounger all week!

  • Check the settings :-)

Checked the settings....it was actually 18.2mph....sun loungers and Ouzo is the new training regime!
