Emmak

A strange night with variable conditions - I'm not sure any of them were good. Looked ok initially then we all got a soaking at sign on. At least the wind died down but the temperature was more like Dec than July! A couple of pb's including Adam as a junior and a first ride for Steve - I'm sure he'll get the bug and be back for more. Thanks to Jenny for marshalling at the crossroads and to the Dixon juniors for accurate timekeeping.

Next week there is only 1 person down to help so we will need at least one more to be able to go ahead.....

Thanks to the volunteers tonight in those heavy showers. I thought about jumping back in the car and going home when the heavens opened, But glad I stuck around and got a PB even dropping a chain at one point.
