Fear not - Sunday 09.30 back

edited July 2015 in Club runs
Ahoy lost souls

Back in port from foreign lands, consuming nautical beasts
So lost boys and girls unite on deck
For salt is in the air and in the blood
09.30 for a modest 35 to 40 miles

See ya me hearties

Still on the grog at 2 bells. Luvverly. Make sure you don't drink and ride me hearties.

Might slow me up a bit tomorrow, but hopefully sea sickness will have gone by Sunday

All hands to your pumps on the Black Pig. Prepare to repel all boarders.

    Yo Ho

All at sea today. Failure to read each other's flag messages meant the crew were scattered to the 4 winds.

Waited in Ports Willian & Wymondley for the flagship Black Pig to sail past....and waited...and waited....

...in the end another solo voyage south: Hitchin Wymondley Willian Wymondly Willian Wymondley (this was dull!) Preston Whitwell Kimpton Claggy Bottom (!) Bendish Lilley Hexton Pirton Holwell Hitchin 36 miles @ 17mph.

Off to Greece to rescue their economy and tackle some mountainous seas on mountain bikes. Shiver me timbers.

    See you soon

  • Thanks to James - good route out to Buntingford via Walkern and Westmill.

Started as six with four finishing the route. Good to finally meet Anthony and also see Nathan again. I ended up with 50miles door to door from home at about 16s. Good recovery ride after yesterday's beasting.
  • Misread flags on the poop deck
    Apologies for lost at sea
Hope your craggy bottom recovers in Greece with a charitable large donation

Good ride today with a recovery gang working well together
One mechanical, one route detour , Fab Four finishers

Enjoyed the sunshine and rolling hills
A few pirates due to return next week

    See you then
