Welcome to the forum
Sunrise ride, Sat 29th Aug 6am, Saffron Walden 50 miler
Me and Vince heading to Saffron at 6am Satdy. Coffee at Costa in Saffron - as Bicicletta closed that early.
Will post route later, but looking to work it to bump into the 3 Cafe route riders coming the other way on our return. Assuming they're riding the route as per Spring: anti-clockwise to Blue Egg first.
Fancy it y'all? If we're doing good time, we might tag on the Club 10, for 60 miles.
Sunrise 6.07am.

Are you meeting at Ashwell or starting from Guilden Morden?
Going to do my upmost to get out of bed this morning, but may well be impacted by night out tonight.
Would definitely prefer the 60 than the 125 miles time wise, but getting out of bed at 5am might take some serious discipline.
:-)
Starting Guilden [village hall] at 6am. But drop a note here on the forum before 6am in the morning if you're up for it and me n' Vince will divert to Ashwell, Tuns first for 6.15am. [then Royston more like 6.45am in that case].
If you think half-light and 12 degrees is hard now... think about November when it's pitch black and you're unsure if it's too icy to ride lol!
Luxury.
Appreciate the offer of diverting.
Will confirm before midnight tonight.
Is that 6.00 at the usual pub in Ashwell or 6.15 in Guilden Morden?
6.00 guilden village hall
6.15 at Ashwell. Tuns.
6.45 Royston cinema roundabout
Vince... Stop talking in riddles! I will be at yours 6.01am
Nice to high-five the 3 Cafe riders near Measden. Looked like a big bunch off to Suffolk.
Met a couple of riders who just missed the 9.30am ride at Ashwell near the end. I hope they caught up.
Nice fast sprint to slip end... sorry for abusing all your draughts!
Really appreciate you waiting those extra few minutes at Ashwell. It was really enjoyable to get early, wake the body up and still get home with most of the day still in tact. Bonus points for me with Mrs W.
Thanks for the coffee.
Great to see the 3 cafes riders, and share in the group conraderie.
Preying for good weather on Friday.
Legs felt tired after that. I put it down mostly to aluminium as opposed to carbon but it could also be hills.
Love ridin out and around Saffron Warden and Claverkng way.
Thanks all for a great ride and for bing most gracious about my brain fart moment on the forum.
