Not having been out with the club for a few week, I have to say what a great ride. Lovely still day, negligible wind, a chill to start, which warmed up nicely, great pace (for me) and good company. Reminded me why I enjoy cycling and riding with the club. Thanks all. Adam
After we finally prised ourselves from the front of the Tuns sun trap we headed of 'up north' into the early autumn chill for a lively paced jaunt to Yelling and back.
Like Adam said about, it was one of those rides that makes riding a bike so fantastic. Bright sunshine and a gentle breeze all the way & topped off with some great banter.
Of course we didn't stick to the planned route, so a right turn in Gransden instead of a left and a run back into Ashwell via Gamlingay, Hatley water tower before a charge down northfields. Great leadout by Mike & 'mount ventoux' DaveW before a last minute streak to the line by Jenny.
Morning was topped off by T in the Tuns garden. Thanks all for a great morning, let's hope the Indian summer continues and we can do a repeat next week!

Just off to Aldi to see what random stuff they have left...
I'm going to the Velodrome on Sunday so will just be out for a short ride tomorrow.
