Saturday 24th October 9.30am club ride

edited October 2015 in General
Last day of 2015 British summer time tomorrow. Forecast not looking too clever at the moment, but we all know how wrong the Met Office can be.

If it's not too wet, lets try some of the great lanes around Buntingford tomorrow

See you in the morning, maybe.......

  • Mudguards on...we'll be there!
  • Mudguards selected....
  • Thanks for a great ride, luckily no need for mudguards :)
  • As predicted the met office was wrong yesterday and 11 of us were out for an almost dry spin round the mystery lanes of the Herts/Essex border.

Normally the route posted is a rough guide to where we are going, but yesterday I didn't have a scooby do where we were for about 50% of the ride so I'd be surprised if any of it matched! Still a great route, wherever we were and some lovely country lanes with hardly a car in sight.

Some pealing off in Barkway and Therfield (I knew where we were at this point), meant that there we just 5 for the run into Ashwell. Looked like a three horse race from where I was, but no idea who won as is now traditional, I was just too far away ;)

So 40 miles at 16.5(ish). Enjoyed that and should do the route again if I can work out were it was !!!
