Club night/film night, Tues 3rd Nov, 7pm at Ashwell Village Hall

Hi all

Just in case of confusion... the usual monthly Club night will be at the Ashwell Village Hall, Tues 3rd Nov - as we are having our film night. See Stickie for details there.

Doors open for set-up at 6pm.

Approx 7pm, Richard will run a Maynard Maintenance Masterclass - 'Don't be afraid of yer bottom bracket'.

Film starts 7.30pm. Finishes 8.45pm for a Q&A with the film's star Alf himself.

Kit I think is there.

    Would like to echo thanks to everyone that made this happen. Enjoyed learning more about Alf and having him there in person added to the interest.

    Particularly liked the pieces with Barry Chick and Alan Rochford. Along with Alf they were able to remember/recollect all the fine details of the equipment and the races. You could feel their passion for the sport in the film. Just makes you want to get out on TT bike!

    Hardriders in 2016 anybody?

    No sooner had Martin finished organising The Wells 123, he then immediately got stuck into organising this film evening, which I know was a considerable amount of work.

    Well done once again matey!

    Thanks also to Matt (AKA Scales Ales) and in particular those nice cake ladies for your excellent contribution.

    When asked to come along, Alf and Judith could not have been more willing and co-operative and I feel as though I had the easy job...
