edited February 2016 in Time Trial
Somewhat belated but here is a roundup of the 2015 season of TT'ing

    Club events

During the 2015 season 54 members took part in the club 10 with 31 qualifying by virtue of doing 4 or more races. Despite a number of races having to be cancelled there were over 300 entries throughout the season (20 up on 2014). The club 25 saw a superb turnout of 18.

    Inter Club events

For the first time since its inception, CCA won the IC series with 34 club members participating in the 5 event series. This culminated with a dominant performance in the Hill Climb to overhaul BRCC.

    Open events

25 members took part in open events throughout 2015. The more notable performances were as follows:

    National Level

David Woodhouse, Jackie Field, James McKenzie, Justin Layne & Richard Glover all competed at National level.

Jackie and Richard came out as champions in their categories in the Classic Series (Womens vet) and Circuit Champs (75-79) respectively.
Justin made very good progress over the previous season to finish 30th in the Senior National 10.
    David competed in the National 10 (placed 73rd) & 25 (placed 48th).
James was 4th in the Classic Series (Vets on target time) picking up one podium place from the 6 races.

    Other

Season highlight for Justin was taking top honours (Zak Carr Trophy) in the ECCA TT 2015 season. In the process for all open events he had 10 podiums including 3 wins, improved on his club 10 record 4 times (to 18:36) and retook the 25 record from David (48:17).

In a stunning season Jackie was also:
Women’s Champion in the N&DCA series
    2nd X Cat (50-59) N&DCA series
Club 10 Champion (Womens and Vets)
    Club 25 Womens Champion

James & Richard both won their respective Vet Categories Y (60-69) & Z (70+) in the N&DCA series.

Luke Danckert was Club 10&25 Champion , gained one podium place and took both the Club 100 (3:42:38) and Club 30 (1:00:50) records.
Will Smith had 2 open wins and took the club 50 record with a time of 1:49:59.
