Sunday 9am race recce

Thinking of heading out to the Littlebury circuit (where the Crest CC RR will be on March 6th) and then back via the Kingston circuit (where this year's Primavera, Ike Saul and Welwyn Wheelers Reg B will be) for those that want to have a look before racing on them. Should be 3-4 hours with a possible coffee at Bourn depending on the weather.

Normal things about mudguards preferable. You might be asked to ride on the back if you don't have them and the roads are wet but if the weather holds it should be fine.

Hangovers compulsory.

Just teasing. It suites me to be relegated to the back as I have been off the bike with a nasty cold. Will try to come out tomorrow. Going to have a spin today and see if I am ready to get riding again.

Cheers chaps, some nice tidy riding today! Lovely little pootle out to the crest course and a little nose around the kingston circuit too. 10 then 8 out, all very well behaved.

I do believe Vince was putting out around 230 watts for most of the ride and probably had an NP of around 250, and his TSS was probably about 170 by the time he got home. What do you think, Vincent? Sound about right to you?

Well we rode back towards the Wimpole Roundabout at a fair lick and the legs certainly felt pumped. Hey I didn't do much / anymore than the rest of you. I don't know about my watt output but recon I ride at a higher intensity and heart rate than most which is why I blow up monumentally from time to time.
Not sure I like riding to a watt metronome but it is definitely efficient and more sustainable. Took a bit of getting used to.
Great ride though Will, especially when you took us to 500 watts onto the crest circuit. Started to panic a bit there.
