How about we ride out to the Blue Egg.
Out via Newport/Thaxted and back via Thaxted/Manuden.

Will be about 80 from the Tuns.
Good place for coffee & cake.

thanks for the ride guys. 5 out. some 77mi @ 17 for myself (but I only joined the route at Barkway and the group somewhere down the road)

Enjoyed that - good ride and company.
I ended up with 92 miles at about 17s.
Blue Egg on top form.
Apologies for riding without mudguards - still needed for the lanes.
