Fast Test RR, April 10th

Something that might have slipped under the radar this weekend is CCA's most recent 2nd cat getting in the break for 100km at the fast test rr on Sunday, unfortunately missing a split but finishing 2nd in the chase group to grab 8th place in this national B. An outstanding ride, to get up there in this level of racing is a really hard thing to do (apparently, I've never managed it!) and to stay up there is even harder. Very strong riding from Charlie Passfield. Excellent stuff.

Well said Will. An impressive performance in a race open to Elite riders.

In Charlie's own words: "I was in a break of 15 riders from about 10k in and we stayed away until the end of the 120k race averaging 41kph. I just got distanced by a group of 6 with 13k to go and then working with one other rider for the last 13k to try and chase them down."
