Yo Ho sun revellers.
Great Escape this week:
4 days walking in the Cotswolds with shirt sleeves and sunny all 4 days - returned suntanned!
Out on the bike today, rained all morning, stopped as soon as I went a minute up the road and amazingly stayed dry for next 2 hours. Even some warm sun.
The poured down once I returned home!
Hitchin, Wymondly, Weston, Ardeley, Cottered, Buntingford, Throcking, Rushden, Wallington, Baldock, Hitchin
30 dry miles @ 15mph.
Looking forward to sunny Sunday.

Sun does shine, a fabulous day
Spring leaps forth, soon be May
Summer bike, ready to come forth
An athlete form, ready to morph
So let's make the most, fortune comes
Steel your heart, miles doth sums
A flat ride perhaps, no bring it on
Hear the cheers, crowds do throng
Prepare for Spain, mountainous terrain
Embrace the strain, joy to fane
09.30 we start, bring it on
Pirate spirit, you can belong

Yo Ho flat landers
I said Hilts, not hills, Cap'n.
Wrap up warm tomorrow as Auntie says it's going to be sunny and fresh.

Boyle's biking bonanza
Barley, bark way, buntingford
Blood building, blooming blue
Bring a friend
40 miles, escape routes if required
All regroup at the top

Yo Ho hill climbers
The Hills Are Alive With The Sound of Panting?
The Hills Have Sighs?
Hill Street Blues?
Prefer Hamburger Hill myself, so going out into the north westerly on a flat ride:

The slug, the snail, a third going pale
All are keen and ready to set sail
So fear not dear crew of mountainous hills
You are amoungst friends taking lots of pills
Lungs may burn, sweat creak and exhale
Dignity to maintain, crew not entirely male
But end in sight, your soul will lift
Pirates together, not cast adrift
So great to hear, full crew will be onboard
Time to have fun, confidence soared

Yo Ho lightweights
At a fighting weight of seventeen stone,
The hilly terrain's not my natural home.
Contending with several layers of fat,
I much prefer the route to be flat.
With that in mind and nothing to fear,
I've decided tonight to go large on the beer.
Flat out Dutchman

Yo Ho Pastafarians
Thought I'd had too much grog after reading this:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-36062126
'The guidelines of the Pastafarian religion stipulate that wedding celebrants must be pirates'.
No hill primes for me today - enjoy the sunshine

Nice flat route with hardly a hill in sight
But lost peripheral vision, so may not be true
37 miles at 16 mph
Lots of lumps
Good Spanish training
More points for Captains green jersey 2016
Good spirit on deck
Nice to see Sat Salvo in action

Yo Ho mountaineers
Sailed west to the edge of the world, which is flat by the way. Blown back by the wind.
Hitchin, Holwell, Pirton, Gravenhursts, Campton, Ireland, Cardington, Cople, Budna, Old Warden, Southill, Clifton, Henlow, Ickleford, Hitchin.
41 miles @ 16mph, just 1300 ft of climbing.
Now for an Amstel (Gold).
