For sale: grass track bike for Under 10 or Under 12 youth riders
I'm selling James's 45cm grass track bike. It's suitable for typical Under 12s and taller Under 10s depending on the child's height.
I built up the bike just under two years ago as part of my project to get versatile grass/hard track bikes for kids made after Islabikes stopped making their Reis model. I built it on behalf of Dolan as the protoype for what they went on to sell as their Pre Cursa Grass Track Bike: http://www.dolan-bikes.com/dolan-pre-cursa-aluminium-grass-track-bike.html
The frame is branded Surosa, the shop which belonged to 1982 world road race champion Mandy Jones.
Please see the the spec on my Facebook post here. It's a higher spec than the standard Dolan bike though - e.g. with Ambrosio rims, fancy gold sprocket, and a (very!) expensive 1/8" track chain.
The bike is also suitable for hard track when fitted with a different sprocket and tyres.
Excellent condition, never crashed or even dropped. And it has won more prize money than I did in my entire racing "career"!
