Club night, 3 May, Three Tuns 8pm
Hi all
Club night is next Tuesday 3rd May. Three Tuns back room from about 8pm.
It will be the first of only four club nights that follow from the weekly chain gang. So think about making it a double header?
Wrestlingworth and Letchworth based sports therapist, Dean Chamberlain, is going to come over to offer his free, private, advice if you have any aches and twinges you'd like to chat about. As well as talk generally about his services.
Belgium trip chat.... If anyone is considering the September trip to Belgium, I'll gladly talk about that. I'm going to ride to Diksmuide, overnighting in Calais Thurs 22nd Sept. It'd be good to wrap up on ferry and hotel if anyone else is thinking about it.
Our new Club 10 course TT chat? Tour of Cambridgeshire chat? That's coming up. As is Etape du Dales.
How about a mini slow race in the car park/pub garden in anticipation of the Grass Track Open on our grass track Sun 8th May. Have a go there everyone!

ta!
Last night at MK Bowl, an official there gave me a portable bike washer and a container for water. It has Jon Polaks name on it. It belongs to CCA and was left at the Bowl after a Cyclocross event this winter.
I have taken it home and will bring to club night this Tuesday. Hopefully its rightful owner can collect it. Adam.
See you all on Tuesday. Bring your aches and pains to chat to sports therapist Dean privately or openly about.
And it seems now - come and get yer bike washed too!
Also... if anyone has ordered a 3 Cafes Ride t-shirt - I can drop off at the night. Whisper here or email me: martin@ccashwell.com
I'll see you all there after the Chain Gang. Fancy it? Current weather forecast a mere 11 degrees higher than last week.
Chain gang sets off beforehand 7.30pm.
Lots to talk and catch up on. And Dean sports therapist there for open or private free advice on aches and strains.
If you've ordered a 3 cafes t shirt: I'll be bringing them all down. Ta.
Words of wisdom and advice from sports therapist Dean, including using therapy proactively to improve performance - not just recovery.
Richard did a bottom bracket masterclass with just a couple of round things.
Mark Wyer mentioned the possibility of a group riding session at Hog Hill for improved skills on Club Runs, chaingangs and racing. More on that to follow: he'll need 15 or so people to make it worthwhile.
Kit sales looked healthy.
'Til next month! Cheers.
