19 out this evening with a moderate wind somewhere around North Easterly which made for a fast run up the B road. Dry conditions but maybe not as fast as was hoped although there were 8 PBs.

Thanks to Tim, Jeremy, Jenny, Shelton and Robert for time keeping and marshalling.

Well done to Chris P and Emma K as fastest male and female, also to Sophie L for winning the handicap this week.

yes, generally we like the new course but are not too happy with the start area and the local farmer isnt too happy with the finish so we might move the start finish a bit. watch this space.

Thanks Again to all those who make this happen and helping riders through the turns. It must get pretty chilly out there at times and your commitment to the club is fantastic.

My first ride at race pace on this course and it feels like there is a lot to learn, including getting the hills right and learning the best and safest lines through the bends and left turns. It felt heavy going and there wasn't much assistance from the breeze...

Amazed the best bit of road surface is the 'trench' which was best avoided prior to the repairs being done.
