A still evening and we were fortunate that the rain stopped leaving mostly dry roads. With a slightly shortened course due to having to move start/finish points there were just 2 who failed to get PBs. Jenny was almost 2 minutes quicker than her previous best to win the handicap. Steve was best vet (+3:11) Carmelo second (+3:00).

Thanks to David, Emma, Shelton, and Robert for their help in running the event.

Cam was fastest on the night and very bad luck to James Dow puncturing before starting.

Well done everyone.

Just a quick note: Cleatwatch... I counted 7 offenders wearing cleats in the village hall.

A reminder: the parish council have made a special request that we remove cleats on the parquet floor. Thank you!

Thanks to whoever found my light that fell off ... and thanks for those who offered loan of a spare wheel after I punctured just before the start but I felt it just wasn't my day ... I'm busy with my tub cement getting ready for next Wednesday
