in Time Trial
On a cold but dry evening with very little wind there was an excellent turnout for tea and cake. Along with friends from a number of neighbouring clubs there were 24 CCA riders including Luke who is now riding first claim for the Army.
A general feeling that it was not a quick night but there were still lots of PBs and some very close competition throughout.

Will was fastest on the night, Jackie first lady, a big improvement from junior Adam, and handicap winner was Andrew R with a PB by 1:01

    Sorry I didn't make it to the pub for a celebratory drink. It was a bit nippy and I didn't want to get a chill riding home damp and cold.

    Thanks to all, as usual. Good to see a pretty full up sign on sheet from a variety of clubs on not the finest of evenings. JMac riding a short 24, just to celebrate a similar amount of candles on his birthday cake.

    Without volunteers like the people we see regularly pushing us off, stopping and starting timers and marshalling the turns, pinning a number on would be an expensive and almost impossible task in this country. Huge thanks to all who signed up on the doodle poll to help.

    Good to see Emma on a proper TT bike now, all she needs is some deep section wheels and I'm pretty sure she'll be in the short 24s/long 23s soon...

    Following on frpm Will's comments re helpers, James is planning to do some serious trainin (no g) next Wednesday for his 12 hour event so prob won't be back to help. If anyone can help next week that would be really good. Thanks.

    Just been out in it this morning, but gusty and very rainy but nothing too bad. Rode the Nomads TT last night in similar conditions. Who wants to help wash my bikes?
