Usual reminder: Tuesday chaingang, leaving Ashwell 7.30pm, starting Steeple Morden approx 7.35pm. All welcome. If numbers good, likely a split into two groups to suit all. Or one group, and try and work together and rotate or simply shelter in the paceline as you prefer. No one minds.

It's the Club night afterwards in the Tuns. So worth bobbing in for a drink.

Sunset 8.47pm... 3 laps might be a stretch but doable. And remember lights.

Forecast OK by 2016's standards: roads should be dry... typical breeze... warm.

Great chaingang. 6 out. Very smooth. JMac smartly reattached for lap 2.

Dark clouds and starting to rain a little. So no third lap. I fear the third lap days are now over for this summer. Let's keep them going throughout August though.

Enjoyed that although felt harder than two weeks ago. Maybe smaller group made a difference. The efforts to regroup at pinch points really helped the flow.
