Oh! I woke up with a backache
Backache! Backache!
I thought I ought to go to the first aid tin
Where I found something for my backache
Backache! Backache!
I rubbed in some cream and started to scream! Oh no!!!
Firey Jack Firey Jack- It's red hot on your back
Firey Jack Firey Jack- Believe me it does knack

Captain seasick and confined to bed. Usual eclectic mix of CCA members - about 10 out. FD navigated a pleasant pootle around a version of Two Bridges. 40 miles at Pirate pace. Most enjoyable - will be back.
9 out on the Black Pig for the 2 Bridges special - out into the wind and blown back on a strong westerly current.
39 miles @ 17.4mph. A bit quicker than forecast but no-one left overboard.
Rain held off thankfully and reasonably dry.
Some flotsam and jetsam in the sea lanes after yesterday's gusts.
No Cap'n today, after he decided to rest, stay in his cabin and lie on the deck.
Plus ca change.
Now I had a back ache on me backache Backache Backache! I jumped into the bath full of cold water The firey Jack had made me backache Backache Backache! I'm worse than before I can't take anymore Oh no!!!
Captain flat on his back on the floor
Not self inflicted for a change
Slept until mid afternoon
Sounds like the Pig sailed well
Good to see some of the crew after
Hope normal service will resume next week

Another Hitchin to London commute this morning via an amended route.
Lovely warm morning, no wind, with just the half-moon and stars in the sky when I set off at 5am (NOT the Rushden pub!) and not too hot, arriving before 8am.

Good job we all stopped to look at the Airlander balloon at Cardington on Sunday as it may not be around for much longer - according to the news its just crashed earlier today on its second flight!
