A quick note that Charlie Passfield gained his 1st cat licence at the weekend. That's a lot of points...

Still leading the Eastern Road Race League overall rider standings too.

Brilliant effort - elite next season!

Well deserved. Charlie's raced pretty amazingly to get his 1st cat this season, from a 2nd place in The Crest at the start of the season to countless top 10s in Nat Bs and top 5s in Reg As... All of this without the help of a team around him to support him in the races. Out of pure coincidence he's not seemed to have raced in any races with any of the other CCA lot apart from the first race of the year. Things will be different for him next year at Spirit, riding with some very experienced racers and with multiple roles to play for the team I'm sure he'll get some great results and have fantastic opportunities to ride some great races! Keep and eye out for him and Cam on Velouk as the results come in. A couple of very strong riders who have raced in blue. Joining the likes of Ash Cox and Ant Morris to name a just a couple.

With more people than ever keen to race for next season it looks like there'll be plenty of blue jerseys out in the races!

It also looks like Charlie has won the ERRL individual rider points competition too, also bringing CCA in to finish 8th in the club points competition. Not bad for a pretty much one man effort this season!
