Saturday 22nd October 9.30am club ride

Dig out those layers, going to be a bit on the fresh side tomorrow.

NE wind, so how about heading towards Cambridge(ish) which sort of feels like the right direction to go !

  • It's looking dry at the moment so I'm going to risk (possibly the last) outing on the summer bike!
  • Ooooooh, summer bike in October - radical :)
  • Family stuff again this Saturday, so won't be out tomorrow. Enjoy!
  • Eleven of us out yesterday morning for sort of the route above. Bit of a foggy, cold start but a few miles out of Ashwell the sun broke through and it was glorious from then on in. Almost justified DaveWs outrageous choice of shorts and LS Gabba ;)

As is now standard, the route posted was clearly just a guide, so after Gransden & a track pump stop at Tom's we deviated to come back via Gamlingay, Sutton, Wrestlingworth and back in via station road.

So 43 miles @ 17 and heaps of vitaminD. Thanks all from a great morning, especially to AndrewR for his 'awesome jet coming into land' wheels :) Hopefully more of the same next week.
