Road bike on track: race practice with the Welwyn Wheelers

Morning all, just thought I would sing the praises of Richard and the Wheelers road bike on track session which looks at typical elements of bunch racing and puts them into practice in a safe, controlled environment at the outdoor velodrome in Welwyn. I had a top time and it was a really good way to have a go at the typical elements of bunch racing, for example we covered riding in echelons around the track and working in a small group to get back onto the bunch which was up the road, both useful skills. Its also encouraged me to take give road racing a go so would heartily recommend for those on the fence. Its 7-9pm most Wednesdays, costing £7 for the session on a first come first serve basis!
