Monthly Club night, Tues 10th Jan, 'Touring Talk' special
Hi all
January's club night will be on Tues 10th January. Three Tuns back room, Ashwell. People usually start appearing around 8pm.
It's a special... Mark Wyer will be imparting his wisdom on the fine art of bicycle touring; bike set up, what to pack, tent, kit, experiences and anecdotes and more. Maybe you've got plans for 2017, maybe sometime further in the future. Whatever: come on down and get top tips and the chance to ask questions and add to the banter with your experiences and tips.
8.30pm start. I expect we'll go on for 45 mins to an hour. Break half way.
Either side: all the usual opportunity to talk with others. Everyone welcome: members, friends, partners, and the curious with New Year resolutions.

Mark's cycle touring tips talk will begin 8.30pm and wrap up by 9.30pm. Drinks break half way.
Everyone welcome: members or not. It's always good to chat others about what they're up to ont'bike. See you there. Three Tuns, Ashwell. Back room.
cheers!
Very inspiring and enlightening. I really liked the way they choose their directions through Europe or wherever almost on the flip of a coin. Flying in the face of pre-loaded GPS files!
And getting up close and my hands on a beefy, proper steel, touring bike was cool.
Mark wondered if we'd like a talk another time on Training Camps. All thoughts welcome there. Also: if anyone else wants to step up and give their advice on any aspect of cycling - they'd be very welcome.
Next club night sooner than you think, Tues 7th Feb, from 8pm. I will be late there - but hope to catch up with others at some point after 9pm.
