Youth Road Racing Skills Sessions: RAF Henlow from Sat 14th Jan
In order to help improve the road racing skills of our youth riders Mark Wyer and I have planned out a series of youth training sessions at RAF Henlow.
These sessions start on Sat 14th Jan and run until Easter. Each session will run from 10am to 12pm. They are designed for riders aged 10-17 who are or plan to participate in road racing this coming season and have also been competing regularly at regional/national events.
Sessions will be run across a cluster of clubs in the area including CCA, Hitchin Nomads, Icknield RC, Beds Road CC (and maybe Welwyn Wheelers)
We are aware that sessions clash with the Muddy Monsters series however the 2 will be targeting different riders. With Muddy Monsters focusing on novice riders, the Henlow sessions will be for more experienced riders.
All riders at the Henlow sessions will require drop bar road bikes running with standard youth racing gear restrictions. We plan to have 2 groups run side by side; 10-13 and 14-17 year olds.
