Eastern League overall standings 2016/17

The league has now finished and we had some great performances over the year from a wide range of riders. The club finished second, just pipped at the end by Welwyn again and the following riders claimed podium medals.
Well done to all out medalists especially Mark who won every race! and to all the riders who make the CX league such fun and such a strong event for the club.

    One slight change Elijah won Gold not Bronze in the U8s.

    Some other fun facts from Eastern CX

    From CCA we had 42 riders taking part in 388 races in all cats apart from senior women and senior men. I guess you either need to be young or old to do this.

    This figure does not count all of the Central races that were entered or any of the National and Regional events where we were also well represented. I am sure some individuals will have done some odd races in other leagues as well.

    An obviously thriving part of the club which would not be doing nearly as well without the enthusiasm of Mark W and his team of coaches, the parents and other volunteers which make it all happen including our very successful home event at Princess Helena school.

    So until next year well done CCA.
