5 hardy souls out at 9.30. Snow as we topped the Col de Therfield made for painfully slow progress so original route abandoned & headed down past Royston golf course in search of flat(ish) terrain. Alec lost a jockey wheel on the 505 (hope you got home ok), the remaining 4 went north to Croydon Hill, Gamlingay, Potton, up to Hatley watertower & back via Guilden Morden. Approx 33.5 wet & soggy miles at 15.9....bring on spring! Great stretch of new tarmac through Wrestlingworth - why can't Herts look after its roads?
