CUCC asked us to publicise the following, all welcome to attend:
Cambridge University Cycing Club are delighted to announce that we will be hosting a talk and Q&A session with Sophie Thornhill MBE! Everyone is more than welcome to attend: cyclists, non-cyclists, students and non-students alike.
Sophie is a visually impaired paracyclist who competes in tandem events in the velodrome. Her palmarès includes: 11 x national champion, 4 x world champion, 2 x commonwealth champion and 1 x Paralympic champion, along with a number of World and Paralympic records!
The event will be held in the Wolfson Hall in Churchill College, Cambridge at 7.30pm on Thursday 9th March. Please arrive in time for the event to start at 7.30pm.
