Saturday 4th March 9.30am ****spring*** club ride
OK, got to admit that I've no idea if it's going to be pouring down all morning or dry and a bit spring like tomorrow. Mind you neither does the Met office !
if it is precipitation free how about one of these two routes. 1st one is a bit exposed, so if it's windy then the second one would be better.

Just a gentle breeze at the start so the 12 of us opted for route 1. All good, tidy club riding stuff out to Barrington, over the bump and onto Caxton and Gransden. Decided to do a bit of a modified route at Gransden so instead of Croyden/Shingay we did Gamlingay, Sutton and back in via Hinxworth.
Great wind up down the Hinxworth road, before a three way sprint to the village sign. As nomal I was way to far back to see who took the honours
So 40 miles @ 16.6. Huge thanks to Tim and David (not me!) for their epic turns on the front.
Next week might be good enough for the nice bikes..........
And hope you had fun racing around in circles Jenny & Dave
I really enjoyed my first club ride, really nice bunch, all very friendly.
Will definitely be out again, may well leave the Panniers at home though!
Thanks
Ian
