Saturday 25th March - 9.30am club ride
Wow, if the forecast is to be believed it's going to be a cracking day tomorrow !
Easterly wind, so couple of options:
1. Head Cambridge way for a flat'n'fast one: Ashwell-Barrington-Barton-Madingley-Dry Draton-Gransden-Croyden-Ashwell (48ish miles)

2. Head east first so get a tailwind back, so could do miniegg in reverse: Ashwell-Therfield-Great Chishill-L'bury Green-Newport-Clavering-Hare St-Buntingford-Sandon-Ashwell (44 miles)

See you in the morning - don't forget the sunnies

I bumped my chin in tuck on my stem and I just noticed in the mirror one side of my chin now has a big lump! haha!!
So out to Bassingbourn, and after negotiating the most shocking road in the world at Barrington, headed north to skirt around the edge of Cambridge and back via Longstowe & Gamlingay. Must have been a tasty tailwind at this point as it was full gas all the way back to Ashwell. Final throw was a blast down loves lane & a 4 way sprint for the sign, somewhere way in the distance from where I was.
So 48 miles @ 17.2, two punctures, a slipping carbon seat post & some random chin injury . Great morning, thanks all.
P.s. Might have to think about two groups if we get anymore on the ride, so any volunteers to navigate a second group??
Thanks for the help, see you soon!
