Wednesday eve Club 10 TTs... we can now park on the field
Hi all Club 10 TT riders
After tense negotiations that went late into the night... Good news! Guilden Morden Parish Council have kindly issued CCA with a blanket permission to use the recreation ground for all our Wednesday evening TTs from now on.
This means that if the immediate spaces around the village hall are taken, drive through the village hall car park and on to the field where there's a gap in the bollards at the far end. Sidenote: please note not to park in this gap!
The hope is to use the Rec to keep cars away from residential areas and especially the junctions. So - please use it where possible - rather than the roads. Please let non-club members know and anyone else who doesn't use the forum.
GMPC have certain conditions. Please respect them as they've been very kind here;
1. Parking should only take place on the ground adjacent to Trap Road. That is to say, park facing the pub and alongside it. Keep off the football pitch; it's still used at times in the summer.
2. The ground should be firm enough to drive on.
3. It should be properly stewarded at all times. Take great care, look out for each other - kids, park users, dogs - and each other's expensive TT machines.
4. Care should be taken not to inconvenience other users.
