Chaingang, Tues 23 May 2017, 7.30pm
Great weather forecast for this week's chaingang. It could be quick. Set your Stravas to Kill.
Sunsets are now after 9pm, so 3 laps doable, if there's interest.
Ashwell, Three Tuns 7.30pm: departure/warm-up.
Steeple Morden, Waggon pub 7.35pm approx: for the start.
1. If more than 15, we need to split in half. Faster group goes ahead.
2. Keep it smooth. No surging or breaking off the front.
3. You can't expect too much mercy. You may get dropped. Create a new chain, TTT with others or solo it.
It's tricky to do: but the other option for dropped riders is to turn around and try and rejoin the group as it approaches. It would take about 12-15 minutes to meet the chain again. It's hard to do though. Slide into the slow lane if trying it.

Splits occurred over the course and some decided to call it a day after two laps, making lap 3 extra hard with reduced numbers. However, young Adam seemed utterly unfazed.
Nice to have Harley and Sophie out.
Lap 1: 23.9mph
Lap 2: 24.0mph
