West Suffolk Wheelers meet this Sunday 4th June reminder

If like me & you forgot to enter, they are taking entries on the day. Day entries will have their own 400M sprint event as entries for the National Championship is closed. The organiser has also said they are low on youth riders.

I forgot too, although I did remember yesterday and was surprised to see entry closed. Thought it was Tuesday midnight like cross or MTB.

Nevermind, I'll pay on the day, don't think I would have been troubling the scorers too much in the National Champs

Has anyone go their eye on the Ipswich event the weeks after, Sat 10 June?

Does anyone know if there'll be Go-ride kids stuff? I'll try and find out.

I would go Martin, but I'm going to a gig in London that evening, if that rings any bells? Not sure I'd make it back in time from Ipswich.

D'oh. Yep. I'm in that London.

In the meantime, I've got a response from Ipswich Cycling Club... Two things;

1. Yes: go-ride kids racing will be there. So something for everyone. Take a picnic. Take the family. Kid's racing only need a good-working freewheel bike of any kind.

2 They are a little under-subscribed at the mo. They could do with more people racing and have asked if I could promote it a bit. The Club can lend a grass track bike if need be. There's no stopping ya.

Ipswich cancelled - gutted. Plomsgate may follow unless more entries received - if anyone is thinking of riding get your entries in!!! See you at west Suffolk!!!

Pity about Ipswich. I have just entered for 25/6 Colchester, 2/7 Plomesgate, 8/7 Biggleswade, 13/8 Hertford. See you Sunday.
