Welcome to the forum
CCA hardriders, PLEASE READ
Hope your lo pros are oiled and ready to roll,
Signing on will be at the cemetary from 9 ie normal place and time. first rider off 9.30. It will be on a first come, first served basis and there has been a lot of interest so get there early, we are allowed 30 riders so should be room for all, although if we dont get a full field i want some damn good excuses.
Timekeeper is Andy B as having organised all this pain for you im off on holiday..ha..ha.
Those doing 2ups let Andy know and he will put you all off at the end. note there is a 2 minute interval for 2 ups.
At the start, if you have more than 5 mins till your start time you should be warming up, we dont want a great gang of riders milling around at the start. Once there, make sure you are in the layby and OFF THE F***ING ROAD!!
Also no uturns at the start its dangerous.
Out on the course there are holes through Guilden, down the hill to the s bends and on northfields road. there is going to be some resurfacing this week on the top part of the course, hopefully not tar and chip, ill try and ride it later in the week and let you know. Generally though keep HEADS UP, and 2 ups take extra care, talk to each other.
At the finish once again KEEP OFF THE ROAD, there`s a nice grassy area to watch procedings/talk knitting patterns. At some of the 10`s weve had people wafting around in the road as finishing riders are coming through at 30mph, any accident at that speed would be serious and that will be the end of our TT`s .
A reminder to anyone kind enough to marshall, you cannot interfere with traffic in any way. In fact the CTT say you are there to point the direction only and should not signal the rider if its clear or not, but ill leave that to your discression.
Oh, and its £2 entry.
Any questions? Have a good and SAFE ride, ill pick up the results, if someone could stick them on the forum.
Good Luck

I rode round the course this morning and all seems ok. the roadworks in the Beds section have gone with a bit of patching at eyeworth.
The section down to the s bends is still bad on the left and plenty of holes on north fields road. Theres been a bit of spot filling around the start area which is good but the left hand bend at the end of North fields road, ie the one we dont normally get to on the 10, is very gravelly. Its quite tight and is less gravelly and best taken tight to the inside.
Looks like it will be dry, make it a good event!

Breaking the hour is possible chaps.
