Weather forecast OK... if it doesn't thunder. Fingers crossed. Hopefully too I can get away on time to make it and see you there. Numbers have faded a little of late. It's time to crank up that summer form, eh?

Ashwell, Three Tuns 7.30pm: departure/warm-up.
Steeple Morden, Waggon pub 7.35pm approx: for the start.

Keep it smooth. No surging or breaking off the front. If you dropped: create a new chain, TTT with others or solo it.

    Well done Mark. A great first chain gang.

    9 or so out. Warm air and felt fairly easy, considering the wind. We dodged the bad weather easily.

    Lap 1: 23.3mph
    Lap 2: 23.4mph
    Lap 3: 24.8mph, 4-up TTT. The 4th fastest ever recorded lap on t'Strava, with Travis putting in a few devilish turns, including the KOM for the hill finish and village sign sprint, equalling Luke D's effort from four years ago.

    I'm away next week. See y'all the week after. You'll need lights: boooo.
