Tonights grass track cancelled

Hi Monday night grass trackers, with the amount of rain we have had and the forecast poor for the rest of the day, i think the track will be too soggy tonight so we will give it a rest this week.

Ill be there next week.

Was riding bourne yesterday, for first time ever I had to lower my gearing as it felt like I was riding in treacle with the ground being so soft.

Good, although only 9 riders which was a real shame. Unrelated I've broken my finger, so grass track racing is my only options for next few weeks as can't change gears/brake safely enough to race a road bike - so have entered medway velo race on 6th of August - 10km madison is on!!
